MRS. JAMES JACOBSEN

Mrs. L. A. Dale and Edwin Jacobsen of Story City have received word that their mother, Mrs. James Jacobsen, had died at Mt. Vernon, Wash. She had been in gradually failing strength due to her age, 89 years.

Mr. Jacobsen left at once to attend the funeral, which will be held at Mt. Vernon, where the family has resided for many year. James Jacobsen, who preceded his wife in death several years ago, was for a long time a leading hardware and implement dealer in Story City. Other surviving children are Mrs. Swan, Mrs. Linder, Fred Jacobsen and Mrs. Wood.
