JOHN STULL
John L. Stull was born in Illinois, Oct. 13, 1854, and passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Galen Kooser, of Mankato, Minn. at the age of 82 years, 4 months and 26 days. At an early age he moved with his parents to Boonesboro, now Boone, Iowa, where he grew to manhood.
He was united in marriage to Mary N. Deal in the fall of 1889. She preceded him in death 20 years. To this union were born two children, Manford D. Stull of Ottumwa, Iowa, and Mrs. Galen B. Kooser, of Mankato, Minn.
The family lived in and near Ames for 30 years, where he was employed at Iowa State college until 1920. Retiring from active work at the at time he made his home with his daughter in Minnesota.
Besides his two children he laves to mourn his passing four brothers, T. H. B. Stull, Wichita, Kansas, C. W. and E. F. Stull of Anoka, Minn.; two grandchildren, several nephews and a host of friends. Funeral services were conducted from Adams mortuary with Rev. Walter A. Morgan in charge. Burial in the Ames cemetery.
