Obituary From Adams Soderstrum Funeral Home, Story County, Iowa.

Billie Ray Alexander was born on March 27, 1939 to Royal and Zelphia (Yardley) Alexander in Ames, Iowa. He served in the U. S. Marines Corp from 1959 to 1963.

Billie passed away at 76 years of age on June 12, 2015 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.

Billie is survived by two sons, John (Laura) Alexander and Rodney Hibbs, all of Ames; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three sisters; and two brothers.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister; and two brothers.

Memorials may be addressed to the family.
