Rites held for J. B. Kintsley

Word has been received here of J. B. (Jack) Kintsle, 81, Watertown, S. D., the brother of Clyde Kintzley, 903 Kellogg Ave.

Born in Ames, Mr. Kintsley died in his home in Watertown March 1.

He married Arrilla A. Coates at Ames June 6, 1906. The couple had been residents of Watertown since 1910.

A member of the Congregational Church, he was a former member of the Rotary and Kiwanis Clubs, Elks Lodge and the Watertown Sportsman's Club.

Mr. Kintsley was the founder of the Kintsley Plumbing Co., later renamed the Pioneer Plumbing Co. of Watertown.

He is survived by his wife, Arrilla; his brother, Clyde of Ames and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Howard, Oakland, Calif. and Mrs. Bess Feridensen, Rockford, Ill.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Dorothy, who died in infancy, a brother and two sisters.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 4 from the Mathiesen. Gergen, Rhodes and Wright Funeral Chapel with the Rev. R. R. Klein, pastor of the Congregational Church officiating. Burial was in the Mount Hope Cemetery.
