Howard W. Booher Died Tuesday A.M. In Des Moines
Howard W. Booher, 58, who was born on a farm south of Nevada, passed away at 12:26 a.m. at the Still hospital in Des Moines Tuesday morning. He had been taken ill Sunday afternoon at 4 p.m. at the home of his nephew Burton Booher at Grimes. Death was due to a stroke and hear attack.
Funeral services will be held at the Nevada Christian church Friday afternoon at 2:30. Burial will be in the Nevada cemetery.
The deceased, a son of V.L. and Della Andrew Booher was born on a farm south of Nevada. Twenty-six years ago he went to Des Moines where he had been maintenance man at the Kruezana Apts., 909 1/2 Walnut for 24 years.
He is survived by his brothers, Frank Booher of Prairie City, Winnie Booher of Portland, Ore., Marion of Boulder, Colo., and Oscar Booher of Charles City and a sister Cora Booher Conklin of Cheyenne, Wyo., and a number of other relatives. His parents, two sisters, Bertha and Matilda and a brother Charles preceded him in death.
The body will arrive in Nevada Tuesday afternoon in time for the funeral service.
