Harold Delano Huffaker

Services for Harold Delano Huffaker, 64, of Maxwell, who died of cancer Friday at the Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Cooper Funeral Home in Maxwell. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Mr. Huffaker was born in Collins and lived most of his life in Maxwell. A farmer until his retirement in 1983, he was a member of the Isaac Walton League and a former Maxwell School Board member.

Survivors include his wife, Edith; four daughters, Kathy Bender of Adel, Jeanne Pierce of Maxwell, Barbara Defpref of Bradenton, Fla., and Diane Rusk of Toledo, Ohio; three sisters, Mabel Pyle of Baxter, Ruth Cummings and Alice Long, both of Maxwell; and two brothers, Dale of Baxter and Richard of Bayard.
