Ruth Ringgenberg Alleman Klonglan was born May 29, 1918 to Arthur B. and E. Anne (Parmenter) Ringgenberg in Alleman, Iowa. She worked as a florist and was a member of Salem United Church of Christ. In her free time, Ruth enjoyed baking pies and cheering on her favorite sports teams--all the ISU Cyclone teams and the Dallas Cowboys.
Ruth passed away at 96 years of age on March 12, 2015 at the Madrid Home, Madrid, Iowa.
Ruth is survived by her three children, Verda (David) Tesdall, of Huxley, Roberta (Jack) Holland, of Alleman and Terri Alleman, of Oklahoma; one sister, Leona Ringgenberg, of Des Moines; one brother, Jack (Connie) Ringgenberg, of Ames; two grandchildren, Steven (Angelia) Holland, of Ankeny and Rajean (Steve) Birkestrand, of Slater; two great-grandchildren, Danielle Harmon, of Texas and Samantha Holland, of Illinois; and two great-great grandchildren, Kendall and Kael Kuhrt, of Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Merville Alleman; her second husband, LaVerne Klonglan; her brother, Robert Ringgenberg; her granddaughter, Roxann Tesdall Harmon; and her great-grandson, Derek Harmon.
Memorials contributions can be made to Salem United Church of Christ, Madrid Home-2nd floor or Ballard Creek Community Assistant Living.
