Obituary From Boeke Funeral Homes, Hardin County, Iowa.

Lola Geraldine Erickson was born on September 6, 1925 near Kamrar, IA. She was one of six children born to Joseph and Jennie (Greenfield) Trampel.

She graduated from the Kamrar High School with the Class of 1942.

On April 23, 1945 Lola was united in marriage to Arling Erickson at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, IA. A week later Arling was inducted into the US Navy. After Arling returned from the service, they farmed near Jewell for fifteen years and then moved to a farm west of Radcliffe, where she had lived for the last 51 years. She did housekeeping for private individuals for many years. Lola was also a Mary Kay Consultant for a few years.

She and Arling enjoyed motorcycling, snowmobiling and they did copious amounts of traveling.

Lola passed away on Sunday, November 2, 2014 at the Bethany Manor in Story City, Iowa.

Those thankful for having shared her life include her son Reginald of Radcliffe; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; along with many other relatives and friends.

Lola was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son Douglas, one daughter Diane Golden, three sisters Elma Miller, Edna Twedt and Ila Twedt and two brothers Lester and Elferd Trampel.

Let us give thanks to God for the life and memory of Lola Erickson.

Visitation:
Visitation will be held at Boeke Funeral Home in Radcliffe, on Tuesday, November 4, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.

Service:
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 5, at 10:30 am at Bethesda Lutheran Church in Jewell, IA.

Cemetery:
Lola will be buried at Evergreen Cemetery in Jewell.
