Clarence Myers
Jan. 14, 1902 to Nov. 5, 1990

Clarence A. "Bush" Myers, RR, of Nevada died at Story County Hospital in Nevada of a heart ailment.

He was born in Ames to Lafe and Mary (Spencer) Myers and was a lifetime resident of Story County. He married Orphia M. Meyers on Dec. 31, 1920, in Nevada, and was a farmer, retiring in 1970.

Survivors include his wife, one daughter, Isabelle Vincent of Nevada; five sons, Cecil, Ernie, Wilbur and Gary, all of Nevada, and Jack of Eagleville, Mo.; 17 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Leora Quigley, Chloe VanSickle and Eva Huse, all of Nevada.

He wsa preceded in death by three brothers, three sisters, one grandchild and one great-grandchild.

Visitation was held Nov. 6 at Chet Ryan Mortuary in Nevada with services on Nov. 7 at Nevada Christian Church with the Rev. David D. Goin officiating. Burial was in Nevada Cemetery.
