ROBERT McKIM

Robert McKim, 57, 615 1/2 Ninth St., died Monday, June 20, 1983 at the Veterans Hospital in Des Moines.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, June 23 at the United Methodist Church in Nevada with Rev. Ernest W. Larsen officiating. Burial will be at the Nevada Cemetery.

McKim was born to Frank and Lola (Stratton) McKim on Nov. 19, 1925 in Des Moines. He was educated in Nevada, and had lived here all of his life. He was employed as a building contractor.

He was married to Ruby Christensen on Dec. 6, 1946 in Des Moines. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1943-46. He was a member of the United Methodist Church, VFW and American Legion.

He is survived by his wife, Ruby; one son, Curtis of Polk City; two daughters, Kelly Perkins of Des Moines and Paula Hohn of Nevada; one brother, Richard McKim of Nevada; his parents, Frank and Lola McKim of Nevada; and four grandsons.

He was preceded by one brother, Billy.
