Homer Boyes died Friday

Homer L. Boyes, 90, Nevada, died about 7:55 a.m. Friday at the Story County Hospital.

Born in Roland, he had been a lifetime resident of Story County.

Mr. Boyes was a member of Nevada Lodge No. 99, A.F. and A.M.

He is survived by nieces and nephews, and was preceded in death by his wife, Blanche, who died in October, 1965, and two brothers and a sister.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday from Ryan Funeral Home, Nevada, with the Rev. M. C. Shupe, pastor of the Evangelical United Brethren Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Nevada cemetery.
