Corene V. Irish
April 19, 1914 to Jan. 18, 1991

Corene V. Irish, 77, died of heat failure at Mercy Hospital Medical Center, Des Moines.

She was born to Clifron and Bessie (Speed) Frush at Pleasantville. She married Richard B. Irish on August 3, 1914, at the Christian Church in Pleasantville. She was a long-time resident of Nevada and lived as a homemaker. She was a member of the Nevada Central Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include her husband Richard of Nevada; one daughter, Claudia Corene Pitcher of Des Moines; one son, James R. Irish of Moline; five grandchildren; and two sisters, Wilma Thompson of Nevada and Frances Gilderbloom of Pleasantville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held Friday, Jan. 17, at Chet Ryan Mortuary in Nevada. Burial preceded the memorial service at the Nevada Cemetery. A memorial service was held at Nevada Central Presbyterian Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Nevada Central Presbyterian Church.
