LEE RIDDLESBARGER
Lee Riddlesbarger, 57, well known Nevada township farmer, died Oct. 24, at his farm home tow and a half miles east of Nevada, after an illness which had confined him to his bed for ths past three weeks.
Lee Riddlesbarger, second child and oldest of the three sons of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Riddlesbarger, was born at Franklin Grove, Ill., April 7, 1865. With his parents and sister Edna he went to Nevada when a lad of about two years. There he attended and graduated from the Nevada schools, worked with his father in the produce business for a time and later located on the farm where he has lived for the past quarter of a century. His wife was Odessa Beckley, daughter of a neighboring farmer at the time, whom he married about 26 years ago.
At the time of his death he was vice president of the Story county Farm Bureau and also of the Story county 4-H club fair association.
He was also a member of the Nevada Methodist church, in which organization he had taken an active interest for many years. He is survived by his wife; his mother, Allie Riddlesbarger now in her 83rd year; sister Mrs. Edna Satterlee, and twin brothers, Guy and Ray Riddlesbarger, both farmers in the community. He also leaves 13 grand-nephews and nieces.
