Garnetta Groomes died Saturday

Garnette G. Groomes, 38, 748 14th St. Place, Nevada, died June 5 at Mary Greeley Hospital after a long illness.

She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Glen F. Groomes, Nevada.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at the Nevada United Methodist Church with the Rev. James E. Dendler officiating. Burial will be in Nevada Cemetery.

Miss Groomes was born May 22, 1933 near Cambridge. She graduated from Fernald High School in 1951 and was a member of the United Methodist Church in Nevada.

Friends may call at the Ryan Funeral Home, Nevada, until the time of service.

Survivors include her parents; a sister Nancy Groomes and a brother.
