LETA ROSENTHAL

Leta Rosenthal, 79, of Nevada, died Tuesday, Oct. 11, 1983 at the Story County Hospital in Nevada.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 14, at the Nevada Christian Church. Dr. William Bass will officiate. Burial will be at the Nevada Cemetery.

Rosenthal was born on June 14, 1904 to J. Renzo and Geneva Jane (German) Carter. in Elkins, Tex. She lived in Elkins and Altus, Okla., before moving to Nevada the last few years.

Rosenthal was a Donnelley Marketing retiree and was active in the Nevada Community Schools, Senior Citizens Center, Long Term Care Center at Story County Hospital and the Nevada Christian Church, of which she was a member.

She is survived by three nephews, Lorenzo Carter of Norman, Okla., Donald J. Taylor of Hampshire, Ill., and Wayne Carter of Manhattan Beach, Cal.; four nieces, Lorene Wilkerson of Lubbock, Tex., Shirley Taylor of Santa Fe, N.M., Wanda Stalzenburg of LaVista, Neb. and Carolyn Chandler of Montgomery, Ala.; one brother, J.R. Carter of Altus, Okla.; and one sister, Annie Mary Taylor of Nevada.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers.

The family will receive friends at the Ryan Funeral Home in Nevada from 7-9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 13.
