HARRY ANGLE

Harry L. Angle, 73, of Nevada, died Wednesday, February 10, 1982 at Story County Hospital.

He was born August 3, 1908 in Ida Grove, the son of Elmer Lee and Frances Amelia Kaness Angle. He attended the Ida Grove schools. On Oct 3, 1931, he married Elaine Wright in Marshalltown.

The family moved to Ames and the Nevada area when he was a boy. During W.W. II, Mr. Angle was employed in a aircraft company at San Diego, Calif., returning to Nevada after the war. He operated the Angle Refrigeration Service in Nevada for about thirty years, retiring in 1970.

He was a member of the First Christian Church of Nevada and had been a member of the Ames Moose Lodge.

Mr. Angle is survived by three daughters, Marilyn Yeager of Des Moines, Corliss Critchfield of Omaha, Neb., and Rita Starbuck of Omaha, Neb.; four brothers, George of Maxwell, Harvey of Ferguson, Iowa, Otis of Ames and Ray of Oklahoma City; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine, in November 1977, his parents, one brother and four sisters.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 13, at 11 a.m. at the Ryan Funeral Home, Nevada, with Pastor William Bass officiating. Burial will follow in the Nevada Cemetery.
