John Redding died Saturday

John Redding, Jr., 38, 322 South Walnut Ave., died early this morning at Story County Hospital.

Born in Grand Island, Nebraska, Mr. Redding came to Ames in 1947 and worked for Jordison Electric for the past eleven years.

He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Church of the Nazarene.

Survivors include his wife Arlene, two sons, Leo and John B. III, three grandchildren, four brothers and seven sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.

Services will be held Monday at two p.m. in the Stevens Memorial Chapel. The Rev. James Adams of the Church of the Nazarene will officiate. Burial will be in the Nevada Cemetery. The body ill lie in state Sunday and up to the time of the services.
