Edna Marie Hanson

Services for Edna Marie Hanson, 71, of 928 Thirteenth St., West Des Moines, will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, with burial in Masonic Cemetery.

Mrs. Hanson died of a stroke Saturday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital.

Born in Story County, Mrs. Hanson lived in Des Moines most of her life. A retired U. S. Postal Service secretary, she was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Central Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her husband, Russell W.; a sister, Mrs. Robert Hanbury of Windsor Heights, and a brother, Glen Fatland of Tacoma, Wash.

The family suggests memorial contributions to Shrine Crippled Children’s Hospitals or Central Lutheran Church. ~ The Des Moines Register, Des Moines, Iowa Mon July 28 1980.
