Mrs. Lora Lemonds, 81, 1231 Seventh Street, Nevada, died Monday evening [June 26, 1972] at Mary Greeley Hospital in Ames. She had been ill for six months.

Born April 21, 1891 in Stamford, Neb. she had been a resident of Story County nearly all her life. She was a member of the Nevada Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Dale of Milwaukee and Leo of Hastings, Neb.; two daughters, Mrs. Fae Goosic and Mrs. Wilma Posegate, both of Nevada; 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, two brothers and her husband William who died in 1964.

Funeral services will be at the Nevada Baptist Church Thursday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Robert Baker officiating. Burial will be in the Nevada Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Ryan Funeral Home until noon Thursday.
