Mrs. Martha Olinger, 69, of Story City died Tuesday afternoon at Bethany Manor at Story City.

She lived in the Story City area most of her life and had been at Bethany Manor the past 6 weeks.

Olinger is survived by 3 daughters, Ruth Faulstich of Hilton Head, S.C., Kathleen Streuben of Jewell and Jeanne Peterson of Forest City; a son, David of Princeton, Ill.; 5 sisters, Carrie Endrelend and Marie Hill of Story City, Sally Hill and Judith Hill of Des Moines Jennie Coulter of Washington, D.C. ; 2 brothers, Edwin of Peppin, Wisc. and Sanford of Napa, Calif.; 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Tom B. Olinger, her parents, Haktor and Martha Hill, and two daughters, Dorothy Kranbeer and Marjorie in infancy.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at St. Petri Lutheran Church in Story City with Rev. Rolfe Johnstad and Pastor Perry Sampson officiating. Burial will be in the Story City Municipal Cemetery.
