VERLA STULTZ
Verla Stultz, 74, of Huxley IA, recently of Nevada IA, died at her home after suffering a heart attack [on October 30, 1987].
She was born May 5, 1913, near Hubbard IA, one of four children born to Frederick and Louisa (Young) Brunemeier.
She was baptized in Salem Evangelical Church at Hubbard. She received he education by attending rural schools and the Hubbard High School where she graduated with the class of 1935.
After graduating from high school she worked in Iowa Falls for several years before moving to Waterloo IA where she worked for Sears, Roebuck for over 30 years. She then moved to Nevada IA and worked for Montgomery Ward in Ames IA then at W.L. Tipton & Son Pharmacy in Nevada, then at Younkers in Marshalltown IA.
She retired in 1984 and lived in Nevada. She had lived in Huxley the past two months.
Mrs. Stultz is survived by a brother, Cecil Brunemeier of Nevada, and a sister, Roma Izer of Waterloo, and other relatives. She was preceded in dath by her parents and a brother, Thurlow Brunemeier.
Funeral services were at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, 1987 at Boeke Funeral Home in Hubbard. Burial was in Nevada Cemetery, Nevada.
