Services Saturday for Della M. Vogt

Mrs. Della May Vogt, 82, of Nevada died Wednesday evening, June 2, at Mary Greeley Hospital. She had been a patient for seven and one-half weeks.

Funeral services are Saturday at 1 p.m. from the Ryan Funeral home in Nevada. The Rev. D.W. Edwards will officiate with burial in the Nevada Cemetery.

Mrs. Vogt was born May 4, 1894, in Story County. Her parents were Cyrenius and Sabina Bates. Mrs. Vogt was a lifetime resident of Story County. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Nevada and Golden Agers.

She is survived by two sons, Forrest Vogt of Aurelia and Claude Vogt of Nevada; a daughter, Mrs. Angeline Hill of Maxwell; five grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; four brothers, James Bates of Winterset and Andrew Bates, Clarence Bates and Ross Bates all of Ames; and one half-sister, Maude of Clear Lake.

Mrs. Vogt was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and her husband, Charles in 1949.

The Ryan Funeral Home in Nevada is in charge of arrangements.
