DANIEL WILLIAM BADER

Daniel William Bader, 93, died Saturday, June 25, 1988, at the Madrid Nursing Home in Madrid IA. Death was due to heart failure.

He was born Dec. 21, 1895, at State Center IA to Wilbur and Otillia Schmitt Bader.

He was married to Kathryn "Katie" Burkhart on June 8, 1918, at State Center IA.

Mr. Bader had lived in Marshall and Story Counties in Iowa and was a farmer and painter. He had been a member of the city council at Nevada IA.

He was a veteran of World War I.

Graveside services were held Monday, June 27, at 2 p.m. at Nevada Municipal Cemetery, Nevada.

Survivors include a son, Glenn, of Nevada; two sisters, Edith Weave of State Center and Dell Wheeler of Rice Lake WI; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.

Cooper-Ryan Funeral Home, 5th St. and Lincoln Hwy., Nevada, was in charge of arrangements.
