EARL THEODOR PRESCOTT

Earl Theodor Prescott, 73, of 225 G Ave., Nevada, Ia., died Tuesday, Aug. 13, 1965 at Oak Park Care Center, Nevada. Cause of death was cancer.

He was born Oct. 29, 1912, at Milford Township, Ia., to Elmer and Lena Boelk Prescott. He attended Milford School, graduating with the class of 1930.

On Oct. 22, 1934, he was married to Evelyn Christinia Peterson of Nevada at a Lutheran Church parsonage in Des Moines.

He lived in Nevada and the Nevada farm community his entire lifetime. He farmed and worked for Lapp Laboratories for 20 years. He also worked for the City of Nevada and was plumber for Geisler & Frank Plumbing, retiring in 1974.

He was a member of Memorial Lutheran Church in Nevada.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m., Friday, Aug. 16, at Ryan Funeral Home, 5th St. and Lincoln Highway, Nevada, with Dr. Bill Bass of the First Christian Church in Nevada officiating. Interment will be in the Nevada Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Evelyn; three sons, Larry Prescott of Fort Dodge, Gerald Prescott of Nevada and Allen Prescott of Nevada; a sister Lucille Hale of Rhodes, Ia.; 12 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two daughters, Barbara Jean as an infant, and Janet Olson wo died in the 1960's.
