Helen Louise Brown
April 1, 1923 - May 1, 2014Obituary
Helen L. Brown, 91, of Ames, died Thursday, May 1, 2014 at the Israel Family Hospice House. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 PM with graveside services at the Gilbert Cemetery on Tuesday at 1:30 PM.
Helen was an elementary school teacher in Gilbert, Napier and Ames. She married Dale Brown on March 27, 1945 and Dale died May 23, 2003.
Helen is survived by her son, Dell (Betty) Brown of Ames; granddaughters, Danielle (Scott) Keigley of Oronoco, MN and Amber (Brad) Lozan of Laguna Hills, CA; three great-grandchildren, Alex, Colby and Karlie Keigley and a fourth great grandson Helen was anxiously awaiting in August.
