SUDDEN DEATH OF MRS. R. A. FRAZIER SATURDAY AFTERNOON

WELL KNOWN NEVADA WOMAN SUFFERED FATAL STROKE SATURDAY.

Mrs. R. A. Frazier, 74, died at her home on Ninth and Lincoln Saturday evening at 6:00, having suffered a severe stroke of apoplexy that morning at 6:30. While she had not been well for some time, the stroke of course came unexpectedly and her death was a distinct shock to the community where she had lived for many years an was so well a favorably known.

The funeral services were conducted from the home this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, after which interment was in the Nevada cemetery. The services were in charge of her former pastor, Rev. Innis, once minister of the Presbyterian congregation of this city, but now located in Milwaukee.

All of the children were here at the time of her passing, having been summoned from their homes immediately after she was stricken in the morning.

Mrs. Frazier was a native of Ohio, having been born, Mary Jean Friesner near Mt. Pleasant of that state, July 29, 1852. She died at her home here July 31, 1926, aged 74 years and 2 days.

She was married to Robert A. Frazier at Urbana, Illinois, September 23, 1874, and the family had been residents of Nevada for over a third of a century.

She had long been a member of the Presyterian church and was always active in the work of the church the Aid and Missionary societies and other activities of the congregation.

She leaves besides her husband, three sons and one daughter. One son Verne Frazier, the fourth child, passed away a few years ago, leaving his wife and two daughter. The other sons are Pearl R. Frazier of Ames, Keith R. Frazier of Storm Lake and Roy R. Frazier of this city. The daughter is Mrs. Harry Langland of Nevada. She also leaves two sisters, Mrs. T. J. Matheny and Mrs. Elizabeth Morain, both of this city.
