From Nevada Journal August 1, 1955

Frank Lewis Tudor, 96, died Monday evening at 5:00 o'clock at the Story County Home where he had resided the last 17 years. He had been ill for the past six weeks.

The body will rest at the Ryan Funeral Home until the time of services which will be held fro the Fernald Lutheran church, Thursday at 1:30 p.m. with Dr. C. N. Swihart officiating. Burial will be in the Nevada cemetery.

Born April 4, 1859 in Chillicothe, Ohio, a son of Isaac and Elizabeth Tudor, he had been a resident of Story County for the past 55 years.

Mr. Tudor was married to Alice Carter in 1886 in Augusta, Kansas. He had been one of those who entered the Cherokee strip, when Oklahoma was opened for settlement.

A longtime Story County farmer, Mr. Tudor was a member of the Lutheran church of Fernald.

Surviving are two sons, I. W. Tudor of Nevada and Lewis Tudor of Livingston, Mont., and two daughters, Mrs. Florence Nelson of Nevada and Mrs. Ruth Gericke of Lake Tahoe, Calif. He also leaves eight children, and 13 great grandchildren. He is also survived by one sister, Nrs. Minnie Parnell of Harlem, Mont.

He was preceded in death by his wife, his paretns and one daughter.
