Mrs. Nellie R. Shalley, 81, Nevada, died yesterday about 2:45 p.m. at the Story County Hospital. She had been in ill health for more than a year.

Born in Nevada, she lived in that community all of her life. She was a member of the Methodist Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Marie Carstens, Nevada; Mrs. Leota Emerson and Mrs. Gladys Smart, Ames; one son, Ilo of Nevada and two granddaughters.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one son and one grandson and sister.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Ryan Funeral Home in Nevada. The Rev. James Dendler will officiate. Burial will be in the Nevada Cemetery.
