Harry Lough, 54, Cambridge man, died Friday morning

Harry (Fred) Lough, age 54, of Cambridge died Friday at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines. Funeral services will be held from the Ryan Funeral Home, Monday, April 12 at 2 p.m. Burial will be in the Nevada Cemetery.

Born Oct. 2, 1921 to Harry and Inez Lough in Nevada. A lifetime Story County resident, he worked as a lab technician at Iowa State University. He married Minnie Vert on Mar. 16, 1941. He was a member of the Lutheran Church in Cambridge and the American Legion. He was a veteran of World War II>

He is survived by his wife, Minnie, one daughter, Kelly wood of Cambridge; one brother, Kenneth Rapp of Dixon, Mo.; and one sister, Mrs. Barbara Prenosil of Des Moines.

Lough was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial fund has been established.
