Memorial service to be held

A memorial service will be held at 11 a. m. Saturday, March 14 at the United Methodist Church Chapel, Nevada, for Mrs. Esther Baker Lamberton and Helen Baker.

With their parents, Ira and Emma Baker, they moved to Nevada from Rockwell City in 1910.

Both Esther and Helen were preceded in death by their parents and by a sister, Mrs. Lois Hilton, the wife of former Iowa State University president James H. Hilton.

They were also preceded in death by a brother, David Baker former director of the flight Division of the Federal Aeronautics Administration in Washington, D.C.

Helen, who died in September, 1969, devoted her life in the nursing profession in Madison, Wis. and Minneapolis, Minn.

Esther, who died in December 1969, attended Northwestern University. Her children, Elizabeth and George and other members of her family will join James Hilton at the memorial service Saturday.
