Frederick Albert Fox, 87, died at his home at 218 Hyland ave., last Sunday*, after having been in ill health for a long time. Funeral services will be held at the Duckworth funeral home Friday at 2:30, and interment will be made in the Ames cemetery.
Mr. Fox was a native of England, but came to the United States in his early youth. He lived in Omaha for about 25 years and then came to Ames, where he has been an employee of the Iowa State college for 30 years.
He is survived by his wife, four sons, Frederick in California; Edward of Boone, Henry and Lindon of Ames; four daughters, Mrs. B. Clinchard of Kent, Wash., Mrs. A. E. Evans of Aurora, Ill., Mrs. Lois Cooper of Ames, and Mrs. Peterson of Nevada.
