Patrick Damian Baldus, 32, of 7715 Hickman Road, West Des Moines, died of complicatins of hemophilia Wednesday at University Hospitals in Iowa City. Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Story City. The body will be cremated after services, and burial of the cremains will be at a later date in Story City Cemetery.

Mr. Baldus was born in Story City and lived in West Des Moines since 1985. He had worked for Amoco Oil Co. and was active with the Ames Boys Club.

Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Marci and Stephen Rollins of Lailwa, Hawaii, his father and stepmother, Stephen and Joyce Baldus of Tulsa, Okla.; a sister, Stephanie Disbrowe of Kailwa; a brother, Steven of Tulsa; and his grandparents, Jesse and Margaret overland of Story City and Anna Baldus of Jewell.

Friends may call after 3 p.m. today at Soderstrum-Larson Funeral Home in Story City, where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Hemophilia Foundation. ~ The Des Moines (IA) Register, Fri 11 July 1997.
