Nevada woman, Betty Anderson, 69, died Thursday night*

NEVADA -- Mrs. Betty Anderson, age 69, of R. R. 2, Nevada, died Thursday evening at her home of an apparent heart attack. Funeral services will be held from the Memorial Lutheran Church of Nevada Monday, Mar. 22 at 11 a.m. Rev. Walter Lack will officiate with burial in the Nevada Cemetery.

Born July 26, 1906 in Oelwein to Mr. and Mrs. William Roepke, she married Kermit Anderson on July 2, 1936. She had been a resident of Nevada for the past 45 years.

She is survived by her husband, Kermit, one son, David of Nevada; two grandchildren: Brian and Lisa Anderson of Nevada; three brothers: George of Traer, William of Oelwein and Arthur, a missionary in New Guinea; and three sisters: Mrs. Freda Wettaufer and Margaret Roepke of Oelwein and Mrs. Kirk Sperry of Turlock, Calif.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.

Friends may call at the Ryan Funeral Home in Nevada afternoon on Saturday. The family requests that memorial gifts be given instead of flowers.
