Ole Holseid*, 80, dies at his home early Thursday*

Ole Holseid, 534 Fifth St. and a resident of Story County for practically his entire life, died early Thursday at his home. He had been ill for the past two years.

Mr. Holseid, 80, was born April 14, 1889 in Bergen, Norway, and had been a farmer and was former Nevada city employee for number of years. He was married to the former Hattie Sorenson Jan. 1, 1912 in Garden City, Ia. and she survives him.

Others surviving are sons, Don of Perry, Clifford of Grimes adn Fred of Des Moines; daughters, Mrs. Katherine Neubauer of Slater, Mrs. Dorothy Heintz of Clear Lake, Mrs. Alta Titus of Collins, Mrs. Thelma LaLonde of Colfax, Calif. and Mrs. Norma Harrison of Nevada. He also leaves a brother, Eli Holseid of Des Moines, 24 grandchildren. His parents, two sisters and a daughter preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. at the Assembly of God Church with Rev. Leslie Howard officiating. Burial will be in Nevada Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established.
