VERA L. ETHERINGTON

Vera L. Etherington, 80, of Nevada IA, died Wednesday, Jan. 27, 1988 at Riverside Manor in Ames IA.

She was born July 30, 1907 at Mooreland OK to Mr. and Mrs. A.D. Bailey.

She was married to Millard W. Ethington Jan. 30, 1935, at Shattack OK.

Mrs. Etherington was a homemaker. She belonged to the Nevada Christian Church, Nevada.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 29, at the Nevada Christian Church with Rev. Roy Sanders officiating. Interment will be in Nevada Cemetery, Nevada.

Visitation was held Thursday, Jan. 28 at Cooper-Ryan Funeral Home, 5th St. and Lincoln Hwy., Nevada.

Survivors include a daughter, Anona Mallatt at Beaverton OR, a sister, Gertie Ritterhouse of Amarillo TX; two grandchildren; 13 nephews and 11 nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Millard, in 1962.
