Beulah K. McConnell
June 7, 1906-Oct. 9, 1998

Beulah K. McConnell, 92, of Nevada, died Friday at Mary Greeley Medical Center due to complications of a stroke. Funeral services are 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at First Christian Church in Nevada, with the Rev. Fred C. Danforth officiating. Burial will be in Nevada Municipal Cemetery.

Beulah K. McConnell was born in Nevada, the daughter of Lars and Laura Nelson Haugsted. She graduated from Nevada High School in 1925. In 1932, she married Kenneth McConnell. Mrs. McConnell worked for many years Donnelley Marketing, retiring in 1971. She was a 72-year member of First Christian Church in Nevada. She had been a resident of Rolling Green Village since July 1, 1997.

Survivors include one son, Gerald L. McConnell of Casa Grande, Ariz.; two grandsons; three brothers, William Haugsted of Nevada, Clarence Haugsted of Ames and Allen Haugsted of Branson, Mo.; and two sisters, Hazel Jacobson of Tacoma, Wash., and Velda Haugsted of Nevada.

Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. today, with the family present from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Memorials may be made to First Christian Chruch of Nevada.
