Fuss rites are set for Fri. afternoon at 2:30

Funeral services for Richard H. Fuss, Rt. 2, Nevada, will be held at the Ryan Funeral Home, Friday at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. Azel Smith officiating.

Mr. Fuss died in University Hospitals, Iowa City, Tuesday* evening after an illness of two and a half months. He was 52 years of age.

Born July 16, 1916 in Lisbon, N. D., he was the son of Fred and Bertha Fuss. He was married to Ruth Little July 1, 1940. He had been a resident of Story County for 30 years.

He was a member of the United Brethren Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ruth Russ; three sons, William of Zion, Ill., Donald Dean and Danny Richard, of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Michael Freel of Story City, Mrs. John Buchman of Ames and Donna Jean of the home; seven grandchildren, three brothers, Hugo of Lisbon, N.D., Walter of Montana and Bill of Nevada; and four sisters, Mrs. Rose Pietz of Pilliger, Minn., Mrs. Lene Brinhorst of Whitten, Calif., Mrs. Meta Beach of Wahpeton, N.D. and Mrs. Dorothy Carlson of Hanson, Idaho.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.

Burial will be in the Nevada Cemetery.
