Died April 8, 1999

Evelyn E. Reedholm, 79, of Colorado Springs, Colo., died of heart failure on April 8.

She as born in Leeds, Ala. A registered nurse and homemaker, she married Dr. Edwin A. Reedholm of Nevada in 1941. They moved to Grundy Center 1946 where Dr. Reedholm set up his medical practice with Dr. Henry Mol. Her husband preceded her in death in 1964. She lived in Grundy Center until 1966 before moving back to her home state of Alabama. In 1990, she moved to Colorado Springs, where her surviving children both lived at the time.

Survivors include a daughter, Donna Piet of Colorado Springs; a son, Ed Reedholm, of Chicago; one grandchild; and three sisters, Dorothy Heath of Toledo, Ohio, Mary Culley of Dallas, Texas, and Margarie Harding of White Rock, S. C.

Private services were held in the home of Mrs. Donald Nelson, sister-in-law, in Nevada. A private family burial will be held at Nevada Municipal Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Pikes Peak Hospice, 825 East Pikes Peak Ave., Colorado Springs, Colo. 80903.
