Barbara Ann (Evans) Krebs, 57, of 722 4th St., Nevada, died Sunday morning, Feb. 24, 1985, at her home. Death was due to cancer.

She was born Jan. 22, 1928 on a farm north of Colfax, Ia. to Richard and Agnes (Bloomquist) Evans. She graduated from Colfax High School with the class of 1945.

She was marred to Emery Krebs Jr. Dec. 18, 1946, at her parents' home. They lived at Zearing, Collins, Ankeny and Nevada.

Mrs. Krebs had bee a floral designer for the past 13 years for Posegate's Floweret, and for two flower shops in Des Moines.

She was a member of the Colfax United Methodist church.

Survivors include Mr. Krebs; three sons, Kyle and Kim Krebs of Nevada and Kory Krebs of Maxwell; two brothers, Frank Evans of Colfax and Royal Evans of Cupertino, Calif., and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, Feb. 27, at 11 a.m. at Ryan Funeral Home on Lincoln Highway in Nevada with Rev. Ernest Larson of the United Methodist Church of Nevada officiating. Interment will be in Nevada Cemetery.
