Leora Quigley
Aug. 1, 1899 to Oct. 5, 1993

Leora Quigley, 94, of Nevada died of congestive heart failure at Story County Long Term Care Center.

She was born in Colo to Lafe and Mary Myers. She married James Quigley on April 24, 1917, at St. Peter, Minn. They farmed south of Nevada until they retired and moved into town in 1959. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Nevada.

Survivors include two daughters, Mary Wycoff and Margaret Bates, both of Nevada; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Chloe Van Sickle and Eva Huse, both of Nevada.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1962, four brothers and three sisters.
