Arrasmith rites to be Tuesday
Mrs. A. Pearl Arrasmith, 70, 908 Duff Ave., died unexpectedly at her home about 7:30 a.m. Saturday.
Born in Boone County, she had been an Ames resident most of her life.
Mrs. Arrasmith was a member of the First Christian Church.
She is survived by three sons, Robert E. of 1224 13th St., Herman S. (Sam) Arrasmith, Denton, Tex., and Richard L. of Champaign, Ill.; two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Edge, Minneapolis, Minn., and Mrs. Marjorie Adkins, Falls Church, Va.; two brothers, Ronald R. Stull, Anoka, Minn., and Lee Stull of Cambridge, Minn.; three sisers, Mrs. Ivadelle Palmer, San Francisco, Calif., Mrs. Gladys Schulz, Bethel, Minn. and Mrs. Ione Patchen, Coon Rapids, Minn.; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, C. E. Arrasmith who died in January 1959, and a son, James.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday from Adams Funeral Home, with the Rev. Gerald Lamb, associate pastor of the First Christian Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Ames Municipal Cemetery.
A memorial has been established, with gifts to the First Christian Church.
