Rites set for Sarah Blomquist

Funeral services for Sarah Frances Blomquist, 94, formerly of Ames, will be Tuesday at 2 p. m. from Stevens Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Donald Anderson of Collegiate Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be at the Nevada Cemetery.

Mrs. Blomquist died in Pomona, Calif., Thursday.*

Born near Luther, she married Carl Blomquist in 1900 and lived in the Luther area until 1915, when they moved to Ames. In 1954 she moved to California to be near her son, Ira.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1951 and one son. She is survived by her son, Ira, of LaVern, Calif.

The body will lie in state at Stevens Memorial Charpel onday afternoon and evening.
