Dale E. Brady

Dale E Brady, 50, of 5009 Midway Drive N.W., died today at an Iowa City hospital following a long illness.

He had been district sales manager for Iowa Mutual Insurance Co of DeWitt. Born Aug. 15, 1924 at Des Moines, he was married Sept. 25, 1959 at Huxley. He had been a Cedar Rapids resident the last 15 years.

He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Iowa 1752 Club, Hanford American Legion Post, Elks Club and the Byam Caravan Club Int. He was a veteran of World War II.

In addition to his wife, Donella, he is survived by two daughters, Debra and Deanna, both of Cedar Rapids, and his mother, Mrs. John Brady of Nevada.

[Services will be at] Turner Chapel West at Friday by the Rev. Wilson Hyde. Further services will be at at the Ryan Funeral Home in Nevada [with interment at] Nevada Cemetery with military services at the side by the Nevada post of the Legion. Friends may call at Turner West until 10 Friday. The casket will not be opened after the service.
