Sarah J. McKee
Mar. 9, 1907 to Feb. 25, 1991Sarah Juanita McKee, 83, of Nevada died at Mary Greeley Medical Center of respiratory failure.
She was born in Bellflower, Mo., to William and Floy (Hocker) Parsons. She moved to Nevada in 1930 and married Ray McKee on Nov. 27, 1931. She was a member of United Methodist Church in Nevada.
Survivors include one son, Bill McKee of Ames; two daughters, Mary Spear of Ames, and Carole Pepper of Marshalltown; one brother, Emil Parsons of Vandalia, Mo., six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband.
Visitation will be held Thursday, Feb. 28, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Cooper-Ryan Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, Marsh 1, at Cooper-Ryan Funeral Home with burial in the Nevada cemetery.
