Anna McKinney
May 24, 1897 to Sept. 11, 2000

Anna McKinney, 103, of Nevada, died of heart failure on Monday, Sept. 11, at Story County Long Term Care in Nevada, where she had been a resident since April of 1997.

She was born May 24, 18978, in Leadville, Colo., to Michael and Annie Hrabjack. She had been a resident of Story County since 1913. She married Ralph McKinney on Nov. 1, 193, in Rockyford, Colo. She was a homemaker and member of the First Christian Church-Disciples of Christ in Nevada. She enjoyed sewing.

Survivors include her son, Glen McKinney, Nevada; two granddaughters, Judy McKinney of Husley and Jackie Wilder of Napa, Calif.; a grandson, Mike Inglis of Albuquerque, N.M. and four great-grandsons.

Her parents, her husband, Ralph in August 1952, and a daughter, Helen Inglis on July 20, 1986, preceded her in death.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Sept. 13, at First Christian Church-Disciples of Christ in Nevada with Pastor Pasha Buck officiating. Burial followed in the Nevada Municipal Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established in Anna's name at First Christian Church in Nevada.
