Linda Rose Booth, 59, of Collins, Iowa, died Saturday, October 26, 2013 at the Israel Family Hospice House in Ames, Iowa.

Linda was born January 26, 1954 at Algona, Iowa, the daughter of Howard and Evelyn (Rahe) Weydert. She graduated in 1972 from Bishop Garrigan High School and then A.I.B. in 1974 with an Associate’s Degree in Business. She retired from the Exchange Bank in Collins where she had worked for many years. Linda was an avid gardener and enjoyed collecting teapots, cleaning and walking. She loved her family and her boys.

Linda is survived by her sons: Travis Booth of Collins, IA, Curt (Jen) Booth of Collins, IA; one grandson: William Booth; two brothers: John (Lisa) Weydert of Jordan, MN, Jim (Lisa) Weydert of Elko, MN; and three sisters: Nancy Bristow of Glenwood, IA, Deanna (Bill) Mayer of Algona, IA, and Mary (Bruce) Keith of Algona, IA.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

Memorial services will be 10:30 AM Tuesday at the Collins United Methodist Church. Inurnment will be in the Collins Evergreen Cemetery.

Visitation will be 5:00 – 7:00 PM Monday at the Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Collins Wellness Center.

The Bacon Funeral Home in Nevada is handling the arrangements.
