JOHN P. BERNICKER

John P. Bernicker, 70, for over fifty years a resident of Story county and forty years or more a resident of Nevada died Saturday evening* after an invalidism of several years.

In his immediate family Mr. Bernicker leaves only his wife, Mrs. Emma Bernicker, and one daughter, Mrs. Julia Watkins of Des Moines.

During many years of his active life in Nevada, Mr. Bernicker was employed in the pump and windmill business, besides sonducting a machine shop at times.

He was a member of the Memorial Lutheran church and was for many years active in the Odd Fellow lodge.
