Grace Steward

Grace Steward, 80, of Nevada, died Monday, June 25 at Mary Greeley Hospital in Ames. She had been ill for two years.

Born March 17, 1899 in Nevada to Dick and Florence Allen Boller, she married Clyde O. Steward Dec. 13, 1924 in Hampton, Ia.

Survivors include on son, William Steward of Nevada; two brothers, Allen Boller of Atlantic and Jack Boller of Waterloo; five sisters, Gladys Kiburz of Afton, Phyllis Forbes of Nevada, June Terrell of Newell, Lorella Maurer of Ames and Betty Lehman of Collins; and three granddaughters, Linda, Laura and Noelle.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, Richard John, her parents, one sister and one brother.

Services are Thursday, June 28 at 1:30 p.m. at Ryan Funeral Home in Nevada, with Rev. Gehrald Riesen officiating. Burial will be in Nevada Cemetery.

A memorial fund has been established for the American Cancer Society.
