ERNIE A. NELSON

Ernie A. Nelson, age 36 of Nevada died at Iowa sanitarium Saturday from complications arising following an operation for diseased appendix.

Mr. Nelson, proprietor of the Bogie Inn a Lincoln avenue lunch room, had been suffering form appendicitis for some time but did not consent to an operation until Tuesday morning of last week when he went to the sanitarium.

Mr. Nelson came to Nevada and opened the Bogie Inn on January 19, 1929, locating his home shortly afterward in the residence they now own at 1115 Seventh street.

He leaves besides his wife, Mrs. Edna Nelson* and son Stanley Nelson jr. age 10, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Horace Nelson of Atlantic; brothers John and Bud, and sister Helene, also of Atlantic. He also leaves a sister-in-law, Mrs. Paul Nelson, the brother having died during the past year.

*SUBMITTER'S NOTE: Mrs. Edna Nelson was Edna Ochampaugh, daughter of Simeon Ochampaugh and Ida Peterson. Earnest A. Nelson was the son of Horace Nelson and Nellie Larson. Earnest Nelson and Edna Ochampaugh were married 3 July 1926 in Indianola, Warren County, Iowa.
