ROY BARROW
Roy Barrow, 89, of Nevada died Nov. 21, 1982 at Mary Greeley Medical Center.
He was born April 4, 1893 in Monroe, Mo., the son of James M. and Mary Conley Barrow.
A Navy veteran of World War I, Mr. Barrow served on a ship transporting teoops to England.
Mr. Barrow was a retired barber and carpenter having worked as a barber in Ames and a carpenter in Nevada. He was member of the American Legion and the Nevada Christian Church.
He is survived by a brother, O.S. Barrow of Tyler, Tex., and a sister Orita Laman of Washington, D.C. he was preceded in death by his parents, eight brothers and eight sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24, at the Ryan Funeral Home, Nevada, with Dr. William Bass officiating. Burial will be in the Nevada Cemetery.
The family will meet friends Tuesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
